First Integrated, Multi-Faceted National Initiative to Promote Israeli Products in the US
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, July 11, 2011 – Buy Israel Week, a multi-faceted online and print marketing campaign, is bringing together for the first time Israeli manufacturers, local US merchants and Jewish interest groups. The campaign will usher in a high-impact promotion to drive brand awareness, customer loyalty and affinity for Israeli products and services. Buy Israel Week will be held from November 28 to December 4, 2011.
Buy Israel Week is being organized by jdeal.com, the premier and largest most comprehensive daily deal site targeting the Jewish market and six media organizations -The Jewish Week New York, Tribe Media Corporation in Los Angeles, Florida Jewish Journal, Chicago Jewish News, Jewish Standard of New Jersey and the Washington Jewish Week– representing the largest Jewish markets in the United States. Also participating and supporting this effort are the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce and Stand With Us.
The online component will be executed on a special Buy Israel Week webpage developed by jdeal.com. Manufacturers of Israeli products selling to the US consumers will offer a coupon to be redeemed at businesses around the country, where their products are sold. Local merchants may offer a standard jdeal offer. In addition, the six major markets noted above will promote Buy Israel Week with online and print supplements emphasizing local editorial features, interviews with CEO’s of Israeli brands, area events and much more all starting on November 17.

Buy Israel Week sponsors will benefit from a marketing package that includes print media exposure in 500,000 households across the US, as well as comprehensive social media outreach through “I Buy Israel” Facebook and Twitter ads and pages, blog features, online contests, You Tube videos, and daily “Seriously Surprising Deals” featuring Israeli product giveaways. Sponsorship packages range from $10,000 to $36,000.
